(Wichita Recordings)

Please don’t hate me. This sound weird, yes, but the mixture of sounds is definitely appealing to the group here at The Mustache Headquarters. We hope to invite them over and play for an intimate show – that would be super cool.

(MAXIMAL)

Here is clip of “Why” by Maximal. I’m beginning to feel that melodic/emotional trance is losing its grip on popular trance music. Artists like Armin van Buuren and Cosmic Gate have been soaking up the spotlight with their growing “big room” trance sounds, and sure, that’s okay, but emotional trance was where it all started.

(SonsOfMaria)’s new tune “Chimera” oozes melodic tech house. The smooth melodies and bumping beats makes for some good easy listening.

(Last Night On Earth)

Legendary house producer Sasha is back at it again with a brand new remix of Maribou State’s “Rituals.” Sasha nails it like he always does, but this time he adds more of a melodic feel to this track, and it’s super soothing. Keep on the look out for more awesomeness from Sasha.

(Fat Possum) always brings out amazing musicians to the world, and they haven’t disappointed with Sunflower Bean. The band is based out of Brooklyn and features a soothing female vocal lead. Easier Said is my favorite song by them this year and it’s safe to say, they rock!

(“Chance The Rapper”)

Chance the Rapper is one of the most prolific rappers that hasn’t released much of his material on Spotify. Here is one of his slower tracks with fellow rapper friend NoName Gypsy.

(rhymesayers)

The words “Aesop Rock” and “new release” in one sentence is like sex. Aesop is back with an ill track “Rings.” Bump to it bruhs.

(Trill Livin)

Aesop Rock is probably my favorite rapper of all time. His flow is ridiculous and beats are insane. Here is an old, unreleased track that may be his most dark track.

(Lucky Number Music)

I played this track on my radio show at WRUR (called EarIndie Blog Radio) and listeners in the chat box were very pleased with the Joy Again track. I come today to find new music by them and am a little surprised to see that this is only the second song they’ve released ever. Good for them, their sound is amazing from the start!
